• Established leaders mentoring upcoming leaders can be rewarding for all parties involved. We are intrigued by the possibility of business success and would truly enjoy learning about the successes you have had as well as the obstacles you have faced over the course of your career.

What do speakers usually talk about when they meet us, and what are we interested in learning from them?

• Each mentor conversation is unique, as each mentor is unique, but our initial and standard questions for speakers tend include the following:
• What is your background (timelines, education, major events/turning points, positions held, etc)
• Tell us about your current position (roles and responsibilities, likes, dislikes, etc.....)
• Whose expectations do you have to cater to and deliver on? How are they set?
• "Leadership Insights" (See Below)
• How do you maintain a work/life balance between work/family/hobbies/travel/etc?
• Advice for future executives?

The topic of "Leadership" is pretty large. What type of questions serve as a good guide in preparing to offer your leadership insights?

• Each Generally speaking, we are interested in hearing about their past (background, education, start in business, etc), their present (role as a leader, challenges, likes/dislikes), and advice for us as developing, driven, young professionals. Most past speakers have done a more informal, Q&A type presentation.

a. What are the fatal flaws that prevent individuals from realizing their full potential? Are they inherent or can they be overcome?

b. What challenges will leaders face in the next 10 years?

c. Advice for future executives? What do you wish you knew back then, that you know now?
